Warranty Terms of Coolergiant Computers Handels GmbH for LEPA branded products

1. General warranty conditions

1.1. Manufacturer`s warranty coverage
Generally LEPA products are guaranteed to operate as specified by their datasheet and in the operating environment for which they were designed to. Coolergiant Computers Handels GmbH guarantees its customers that purchased products, which are covered by the respective warranty, to be free from material and manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not affect the statutory warranty claims, but justifies additional, separate claims against Coolergiant Computers Handels GmbH (so called manufacturer`s warranty).

1.2. Warranty service
Service will be done in the form, that parts which have defects in material and workmanship, in spite of adequate treatment and attention to the instructions for use, on our option will be repaired or exchanged. Alternatively we reserve the right to replace the defective unit or defective component by a successor product. Replaced devices are transferred to our property. The warranty has to be claimed at the original dealer or responsible service partner. For LEPA products Coolergiant Computers Handels GmbH does not provide any direct service.

1.3. Warranty validity
The warranty is valid only for end users (consumers), who bought the original LEPA product from an authorized dealer (first buyer). The warranty cannot be transferred to another owner (first occupancy). Service for used bought products without an invoice will be rejected strictly.

2. Warranty Period

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase shown on the original invoice (initial purchase by consumers at authorized LEPA dealer). Neither warranty service does cause an extension of the original warranty period, nor does it start a new warranty. The warranty period for installed spare parts ends with the warranty period for the device.

2.1. Power supplies
The statutory warranty period for manufacturers and dealers depends on federal state law. Certain models have a prolonged manufacturer warranty (eg. the G1600). Please check the particular product information at www.lepatek.eu for details.

2.2. Cases, peripherals and cooling solutions

3. Warranty Requirements and Exclusion

  • Original invoice or copy of invoice including purchasing date, model name and complete company data of the dealer including the tax number or VAT ID is indispensable and has to be included when claiming for RMA service. The information provided needs to be complete and clearly readable. All RMA requests without original invoice or copy of invoice will be rejected.
  • Product has to be within the warranty period since purchasing date.
  • LEPA product has to be purchased within the sales area of Coolergiant Computers Handels GmbH (Europe).
  • Warranty period cannot be transferred to another owner.
  • Warranty is immediately lost, when the product is opened, modified or manually damaged.
  • If the device is damaged or destroyed through the influence of force majeure or by environmental factors (moisture, heat, electric shock, overvoltage, dust, and so on) no warranty can be provided.
